Job alerts for school staff in 46 states and Washington, DC — never refresh a job board again.

WECAN and the Wisconsin Association of School Personnel Administrators, EdJobsNH and
the New Hampshire School Administrators Association, the Arizona Department of
Education, the Oklahoma State School Boards Association, the Wyoming School Boards
Association, EdPost and St. Cloud State University, the DC Public Charter School
Board, DC Prep, or any school district, county
office of education, state agency or education association. Job listings are published openly
on those boards; AlertEd links you to the original posting to view details and apply.

For job-board operators
AlertEd reads public job postings with a request that identifies itself: every one of our
crawlers sends a User-Agent naming AlertEd and linking to this page, so traffic in
your logs is attributable to us and to one connector. We read only pages that are public and
unauthenticated, we respect robots.txt, we back off on a 429 or a 503, we publish
our own summaries rather than your listing prose, and every posting links back to your original.
If you would rather we did not read your board, email
info@alerted.app and we will stop. Each source has
its own switch and turning it off takes effect on the next sweep.
Common questions
- I'm not receiving alerts. Check that notifications are allowed for
AlertEd — iOS Settings → Notifications, or Android Settings → Apps → AlertEd →
Notifications — that your alert isn't muted or inside quiet
hours, and that you have an internet connection. Free accounts receive a daily digest at
the hour you choose; AlertEd+ pushes a match within about five minutes of it posting.
- My state or district isn't showing anything. AlertEd covers 46 states and
Washington, DC, and coverage isn't identical in all of them.
A statewide board, read in full: California, Iowa, Florida, Ohio, North
Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, New Jersey, Texas, North Dakota,
Maine, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Arizona and Wyoming. Iowa is the only one that
is complete by law; in Florida only about half of the 67 county districts post to theirs, and
in the others the board is statewide but using it is each employer's choice. Wyoming's board
lists vacancies without descriptions, so a keyword alert there matches on the job title alone.
A shared board or portal that some employers use and others don't:
Illinois, Connecticut, Missouri, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Nebraska, West Virginia, Alaska,
Delaware, Idaho and Oklahoma. West Virginia covers all 55 county systems; the rest are a real
slice of the state rather than all of it. Oklahoma is the school boards association's statewide
board alongside Oklahoma City and one regional cooperative.
A few districts, not the whole state: Massachusetts (thirty districts, but
not Boston, Worcester, Springfield, Cambridge or Lowell), Washington (twenty-odd Puget Sound
districts, not Spokane), Louisiana (ten parish districts), Michigan, Minnesota, Utah, Montana
and Oregon (a handful of large districts or regional agencies each — Detroit, Salt Lake City,
Minneapolis and Portland are not among them); Kentucky (Jefferson County/Louisville), Kansas
(Shawnee Mission) and Indiana (one regional cooperative) — one each; Georgia (Atlanta and
Gwinnett), Colorado (Summit and Aspen), Maryland (Anne Arundel County and eight district
portals), South Dakota (Aberdeen and Sioux Falls), Virginia (Albemarle and Accomack) and
Vermont (one supervisory union). In Minnesota a statewide university-run board now runs
alongside those districts — it publishes no employer field, so Minnesota alerts can't be
narrowed to a district the way they can elsewhere. In Washington, DC, AlertEd reads the charter
sector only: DC Public Schools, the traditional district and the city's largest employer of
teachers, is not included. If you're looking anywhere else in one of these places, AlertEd
won't see it yet.
Not yet: New York is coming soon and isn't showing postings.
If your district posts only on its own careers page, AlertEd won't see it yet — tell us
which one at info@alerted.app and it helps us
prioritise.
- When does the digest arrive? At the hour you chose for that alert, on the
days something matched — a quiet week is a week with no email. If your chosen hour falls
inside your quiet hours, the digest moves to the first hour outside them rather than being
skipped.
- How do I cancel AlertEd+? Subscriptions are managed by Apple or
Google, depending on where you subscribed: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions
→ AlertEd, or in the Google Play app → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions →
AlertEd. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- How do I delete my account? In the app: Settings → Delete Account.
This permanently removes your data from our servers (see the
Privacy Policy).
- A listing looks wrong or is missing. Listings come from the public job
board each posting names, and can change or close at any time. Always verify details on the
official posting before applying.
